Hey, I'm Jim!
I'm a 4th year undergraduate student at UC Berkeley pursuing double degrees in Operations Research & Management Science and Economics along with a minor in Public Policy. I am heavily involved with tech, especially the cross-section of civic work and advocacy with technological advancement, as well as computational models for optimizing business operations and strategizing techniques.
This past summer, I interned in the Silicon Valley working on forecasting and strategy for Apple Inc. and Marvell Semiconductor. On campus, I am part of the leadership team for Code for Berkeley, the Berkeley brigade of Code for America (also the first CoA brigade founded solely by college students), the Hiring Manager and Senior Distribution Analyst for The Daily Californian, a social media marketing lead for UC Berkeley, and the President of Seed Base, a student-led consulting organization focused on tech startups. In the past, I interned for Frontier Communications as a market research intern and for the University of Cambridge as a research intern.
As a senior, I am excited yet admitted nervous to graduate. After graduation, I will be joining PwC in the San Francisco office as a Digital Risk Solutions Associate. I am absolutely thrilled for this opportunity, and I can't wait to see how far I will go.
